Create a Dramatic Footed Vase using this 3-Piece Drop-Thru Mold that Automatically Aligns the Drop to the Center of a Wine-Glass Style Foot This innovative Drop-Thru Mold Forming System enables fusers to create a delicate vase shape in a kiln that is remarkably similar to vessels made using traditional glass blowing techniques. The Foot Casting Mold, used to create a 2 7/8” (7.3 cm) diameter x 1/4” (64 mm) thick cast glass foot disk using our ‘Scrap Casting’ technique. The top Diameter is 7.5" (191mm) and the Drop-Out Diameter is 3" (76mm) The Fluted Drop-Thru Ring to shape the vase and guide the drop onto the cast foot disk. The Tripod Base to support the Drop-Thru Ring plus hold and center the cast foot disk. Create a contemporary Drop-Thru footed vase using this 3-piece mold forming system. The process starts with a 2 layer circle design that Drops-Thru a square hole in the ring mold then the glass drop is automatically aligned to hit and fuse to the center of a pre-cast glass foot disk. Turn the mold ring 1/3 of a revolution to change the height for 3 different vase dimensions: 5" (13cm), 4-3/8" (11cm) & 3-3/4" (9.5cm). Flutter Mold Bundle:

The B210 Flutter Mold Bundle enables fusers to create an 11 1/4” (28.5 cm) bowl with a cookie-style foot in a three-step process.

The first step is to cast a glass foot using the C105 foot casting mold. That mold is included in the B210 bundle or you may already own that mold if you have the B235 Starfire mold bundle. You will need 130 grams of glass shards to cast the foot disk.
Then design and fuse a 12” (30.5 cm) diameter flat design disk. This could be a single layer 12” (30.5 cm) disk with fused design elements or create a two layer, full-fused design disk, or simply cut a 12” (30.5 cm) circle from a compelling piece of fusible art glass and let the design in the glass and the foot on the bottom, be the star.
The final step is to slump your design disk into the Flutter Mold to shape the bowl while at the same time attaching the cast glass foot by tack fusing it to the underside.
Note:
You can create a beautiful bowl without adding the cast glass foot. Simply create your design disk, place it on the mold and follow the slump firing schedule. The center of your design disk will slump into the foot cavity in the mold to form a slump-drop foot.
