REUSCHE PAINTS

Reusche Paints are a vitreous paint that is a mixture of ground glass and a pigment oxide. These superior glass stains and paints from Reusche are available in 1oz bottles, and some in 8oz. bottles, containing powdered colours which must be mixed with water and gum arabic or other mixing agents before applying to glass and then kiln firing.
1oz covers approximately 300 sq. in.

BLENDABLE BENDING COLOURS:
Firing temperature: 1200 - 1300 deg. F. High Gloss Opaques with vibrant colours.
These paints contain lead and/or cadmium. do not use on food bearing surfaces, toys or children's items.

ENAMEL COLOURS:
Firing temperature: 1050 - 1080 deg. F (565 - 586 deg. C). Semi Gloss Translucent colours.
Enamels are vitreous paints and become translucent when fired at lower temperatures. 

LEAD & CADMIUM FREE COLOURS:
Firing temperature: 1150 - 1400 deg. F. Semi Gloss Translucent to Opaque.
Formulated without lead or cadmium using a Bismuth borosilicate frit. Suitable for use on glass and art ware.

SILVER STAINS:
Firing temperature: 1050 - 1080 deg. F (565 - 586 deg. C). Transparent colours varying for yellows to rich ambers.
Contains silver nitrate and gamboge gum and is available in a range of intensities from pale yellow to orange intense.

TRADITIONAL GLASS STAINERS COLOURS:
Firing temperature: 1200 - 1250 deg. F (648 - 676 deg. C). Medium Gloss Opaques.
Not bright transparent stains, these are basic paints for painting on glass.

NOTE:
All colours within each section may be mixed to achieve entirely new colours.
