LEAD CAME

Lead came comes in a variety of shapes and sizes for all your stained glass construction requirements. Lead came shapes are U, RH, FH and RU. Leaded stained glass panels must be cemented in order for any strength to be realized. This also seals the joints and helps stop air movement. A cleaning is required with whiting after the cementing process.

TERMS FOR CAMES:

"U" - refers to the U-shaped cames for borders.
"RH" - refers to the H-shaped cames with 2 channels for inside seams - this came is rounded on the face.
"FH" - refers to the H-shaped cames that are flat on the face.
"RU" - refers to the border cames with a rounder face.

This product only available for shipping in full box quantities. In-store pick up only for less than full boxes. We typically bring in the full boxes of lead came with our glass orders (once a month) to save on shipping costs for both you and us. If you need the came shipped to you before one of our glass deliveries, there'd be extra shipping charges.
