The Bethlehem Champion Burner is the replacement for the popular PM2D W/C Bench Burner Torch. Like the PM2D, the Champion is an all surface-mix duel-flame torch with separately controlled center and outer fires. The Champion has the same flame characteristics as the PM2D, but it is constructed almost entirely out of stainless steel, keeping it cool to the touch even while in use. The stainless steel construction allows the torch worker to run any style of flame, even soft lazy short candles without ever damaging the face of the torch! The torch comes standard with a quad modular valve manifold, perfect for flame workers needing a foot peddle. The modular valve system allows for easy an inexpensive valve replacement if ever necessary. The internal structure has been modified to allow more oxygen to surround each gas port, creating a more balanced and cleaner flame while requiring much less pressure then other torches on the market today. The new larger gas and oxygen port structure increases the flow of gas by 10% and oxygen by 30% while decreasing the amount of ports at the face of the torch, thus making a perfectly balanced clean, penetrating flame. The Champion torch will be mounted on a rack and pinion black steel base. The center fire has six gas ports configured in Bethlehem’s signature pentagon shape; three oxygen ports surround each gas port. The outer fire consists of 30 gas posts each surrounded by three gas ports. The recommended psi settings are 5 or lower for gas and 20 or lower for oxygen. At full flame - 95,960 BTU’s/hr.
