    The smallest bunsen burner available! A CNC machined billet aluminum body and all brass burner parts make this durable little burner a winner in your shop. At less than 2 inches tall and 1-1/4" diameter you won't find a smaller, more capable bunsen burner. A powerful neo magnet holds the micro in place on steel surfaces or use the 8-32 tapped hole to mount to bracket or base of your choice. Adjustable air flow sleeve allows a soft orange candle flame up to a pointed feathery blue flame up to 6" high. **NOT COMPATIBLE WITH STABILIZER INSERTS**

    Operates best at propane pressures less than 5psi and with low flow rates, it requires a needle valve to moderate the flame.

    CNC machined billet aluminum body with four rotating burner tips allows huge flexibility in the heat distribution on the workpiece. The body has FOUR powerful neodymium magnets concealed in the base making the Flexburner extremely compact such a large flame coverage! The bottom is also threaded for screw attachment to a Flexmount or bracket.

    The Madhatter Flexburner has four burner nozzles that each swivel up to 20 degrees and stay in position. This allows the artist to customize the heat pattern of the burner from concentrated center fire to a wide “crown flame” and everything in between.

    The FB3 nozzles have ADJUSTABLE AIR FLOW CONTROL on each nozzle. The flame is stable at propane pressures from 2 to 10psi but must be throttle controlled above 3psi with a needle valve which is SOLD SEPARATELY.

    FLEXBURNER - XL

    We took the Flexburner swiveling flame nozzles to a new length and shape. The FlexburnerXL is a ribbon style burner with three pairs of nozzles allowing for a longer, more linear heat distribution pattern than the Standard Flexburner. Perfect for long work such as preheating tube for sleeving/blow in work or vac stacks!

    CNC machined billet aluminum body with six rotating burner tips allows huge flexibility in the heat distribution on the workpiece. Overall dimensions are 5.5”L x 2.7”W x 3.4”H. Includes one barb fitting and two plugs.  NOTE: COLOUR MAY VARY FROM PHOTO DEPENDANT UPON STOCK AVAILABILITY - COLOUR CHOICE IS OURS WHEN SHIPPING

    The nozzles can move independently but they do NOT have individual flame size or chemistry adjustment, all burners are controlled by a single input valve which is sold separately. The flame is stable at propane pressures from 2 to 10psi.

    Each FlexburnerXL has three input ports, one on each end and one on the side. This allows you to connect multiple burners in line for very long work or side-by-side for a very wide and strong flame bed.

     The flame on all burners can controlled by a single input valve which is sold separately, but is NOT necessary to operate the burner unless you wish to control the input volume to adjust the flame.

    MADHATTER NEEDLE VALVE

    Brass needle valve with adapter tubes for 1/4” hose.
    Use this valve to control the flow of fuel (propane) to the Flexburner. This is NOT a pressure regulator, it allows fine control of the size of the Flexburner flame.

    MADHATTER SPLITTER, 3-PORT "Y"

    This 3 port splitter is commonly known as a “Y” connector. You are no longer confined to the available connector ends of common brass Y connectors! We have reimagined the splitter as a user configurable manifold, CNC machined from solid billet aluminum with a satin anodized finish.

    Each splitter has three 1/4”NPT ports to accept barb and “B” style connectors which are SOLD SEPARATELY.  Add the connector style of your choice for each port! Common use for a splitter like this is to add a single line extension to a gas hose for connecting a bunsen burner or to share compressed air to multiple devices.

  • MADHATTER MANIFOLD, 6-PORT

    MADHATTER MANIFOLD, 6-PORT

    The 6 port manifold is a dual plane Y style splitter CNC machined from solid billet aluminum with a satin anodized finish. Much smaller than our 14 port manifold used to add a lathe to your glassworking shop. Each 6 port manifild body has six 1/4”NPT ports to accomodate brass fittings with either barb or “B” style configurations SOLD SEPARATELY.

    These are commonly used by glass artists to upgrade the workspace by adding a hand/mini torch to the standard bench torch! This manifold is also used to upgrade a single stage torch to dual stage or for upgrading from dual to three stage torches. These smaller manifolds in combo with 3 port splitters can be used with oxygen concentrators as a clean way to combine multiple output hoses to a single line supplying a compressor or straight to a torch.

    TREE PERC JIG - 6 HOLE by MADHATTER GLASSWORKS

    Anodized aluminum jig for producing tree percolators for rigs and bongs. CNC machined from billet aluminum with a smooth satin anodized finish. These jigs include a brass thumbscrew to securely hold the 12.7mm (12mm works as well) center blow tube in place as well as a loop spring to hold the tree arm tubes in position while you weld them to the center tube. The angled waist combines with the loop spring to make these jigs FAST AND EASY to load and assemble! Simply press the arm tubes into the holes and it pushes the spring down and then snaps back into position when the tube is at bottom. When complete just loosen the side screw and push the tree out! No clamps or wires required.

    These jigs allow for wire or narrow hose clamps if you prefer them.

    The six hole jigs are sized to allow 6 x 9.5mm (10 x 2.2 works as well) arm tubes to fit into MINIMUM 44mm heavy wall tubing. It will also hold 8mm tubes on the arms

    FLAME STABILIZER INSERT by MADHATTER

    This small insert makes a HUGE difference in the Flexburner flame! Replacing the standard nozzle screen with the Stabilizer Insert produces a hotter blue flame with a tighter shape for more heat right where you need it. More efficient combustion results in a less reducing chemistry as well.

    No tools required for installation, simply pop out the screen and press the insert into the nozzle! Works on all Flexburners and Flexburner XL's
