These tweezer jacks are constructed from a specially modified pair of 10" smooth tip tweezers. The arms have been bent, shaped and sharpened to form a perfect set of jacks. The tips come to a nice point and the length of the shaped design length is 85mm (3-5/8"). The tips close perfectly together and are 51mm (2") apart at rest.

These tweezer jacks are constructed from a specially modified pair of 12" smooth tip tweezers. The arms have been bent, shaped and sharpened to form a perfect set of jacks. The tips come to a nice point and the length of the shaped design length is 120mm (4-3/4"). The tips close perfectly together and are 57mm (2-1/4") apart at rest.

The Magic Mini Jacks can be used to ream open the smallest opening using on of the triangle shapes blades and moving in and out of the flame. Use the outward force of the beveled edge jack blades for opening any 2" or smaller tube or encalmo section for a nice even wall and cup shape. Other great uses for the Mini Jacks are finishing of hollow beads, pendant loops, fine tuning a mouth piece or raised carbs or even opening the constriction on a down stem. The Mini Jacks are made of hardened stainless steel which can withstand much more heat than common stainless steel. The jacks can be held directly in the flame for a few seconds without damage to the steel. Although the ideal use of the jacks, the glass is in between the tool and the flame and in many case the shaping is done just outside the flame. The dimensions of this amazing tool are 8.5" long and the blades are 0.5 mm wide at the tip going up to 0.35 mm at the widest edge. The flare dimension range is from 1 mm to 55 mm.

These True Flameworking Jacks are the first of their kind. They are made with the same trusted heat tempered stainless steel as the popular mini jacks. This kind of tempering allows the jack's blades to tolerate constant exposure to heat and direct flame. The jack blades are 2.75" long and have a rounded back edge. The top curves in and comes to a fine point. The blades have been turned 90 degrees from the arms like traditional jacks. The overall length of 11.25" make these jacks truly the correct scale for flameworking.
