This grabber is about 14.5" long overall with a 1/2" thick handle. The handle portion is 6.5 to 7" long. The wire portion is just shy of 8" or so. The opening is about 3", however with some slight pressure you can bend the wires a bit bigger. When fully closed the opening reduces to about 1".
